We’ve already told you that Windows Phone 8 will get support for 1080p full HD screens later in the year, and now we have a piece of evidence to share.

The information comes from Justin Angel, who used to work with Microsoft and Nokia. He managed to dig up some emulator files from Visual Studio 2013, which was previewed at Build last week.

The mentioned files are used by developers for running a “virtual” Windows Phone on their computer, to see how their apps look and perform. And yup, since developers will be able to test out their apps on full HD screens, it means only one thing – such devices are coming soon.

It is said that support for full HD screens is coming as part of the upcoming GDR3 update though we’re not sure when exactly it will be launched. More to come on this…
