Kyocera Hydro Edge is heading to Sprint and Boost Mobile on July 19 and July 23, respectively. Part of Japanese company’s Hydro series, the waterproof device can be submerged in up to 3.28 feet of water for up to 30 minutes.
Sprint users will be able to buy the Hydro Edge for as little as $19.99 as long as they commit on a two-year contract, and this applies to both new customers and eligible upgraders. On the other hand, those looking to get the phone through Boost Mobile may get it for $149.99 (excluding taxes) sans any strings attached, and then pair it with MVNO’s $55 Android Monthly Unlimited plan with Shrinking Payments. The mentioned plan shrinks by $5 for every six on-time payments, eventually getting down as low as $40 a month.
