Regional carrier Cricket Wireless will be offering the Samsung Galaxy Admire 2 and the Galaxy Discover starting on July 21st, available off-contract at affordable prices.
Both of the devices will be available with Cricket’s 3G all-inclusive smartphone plans, which start at $50 a month, and top out at $70 a month. Both untis will offer Cricket’s Muve music service, with the Galaxy Admire 2 eligible for Cricket’s 4G LTE Android Muve Music Double Data service plans, which deliver double the full speed data allowance of that which is offered with the 3G data plans.
The more powerful of the two, the Samsung Galaxy Admire 2 will be priced at $269.99 and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The unit includes 4G LTE connectivity, NFC and Samsung SBeam technology. The Samsung Galaxy Discover will retail for $129.99, and comes sporting a 3.5-inch screen, and a 3MP rear-facing camera.

Powering the device is a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor that provides an exceptionally fast user experience with CPU optimization to provide better battery life. Users will have enhanced connectivity with 4G/LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, Hotspot and Near Field Communications (NFC) for S Beam sharing. Samsung S Beam technology lets customers share photos, videos, documents and other media by merely touching the back of another S Beam-enabled device. The Admire 2 is also a savvy smartphone for business people with features like corporate email through Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, VPN capability and on-device encryption.
The Samsung Galaxy Admire 2 is available on Cricket’s 4G LTE Android Muve Music Double Data service plans that offer, for a limited time, double the monthly full speed data allowance offered in 3G rate plans. The $50 4G LTE Android Muve Music Double Data Rate Plan allows 2GB of full-speed data; the $60 plan allows 5GB of full-speed data and the $70 plan offers 10GB of full-speed data.

Cricket 4G LTE service is now available in Philadelphia, Phoenix, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Laredo, Corpus Christi and the Brownsville-McAllen-Harlingen market, Texas in addition to existing 4G LTE service in Las Vegas and Tucson.
