You may not have heard much about Ting, a MVNO that offers pre-paid and affordable plans in the U.S. using Sprint’s network, but the mobile provider is gaining traction in the MVNO scene. Ting currently offers flagship handsets such as Samsung Galaxy S4 and the HTC One, and will be releasing unspecified Samsung ATIV Windows Phones in the future. Ting is slated to carry the HTC 8XT Windows Phone, announcing the launch of pre-orders today.
The HTC 8XT is the first Windows Phone 8 handset to ship with BoomSound speakers, and touts a 4.3 inch WVGA display, a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, 8GB of storage, a micro SD slot for memory expansion, an 8MP rear-facing camera and a 1,800 mAh battery. The device will have 4G LTE support as well.
