Android App Locket Pays Users For Viewing Ads on Lockscreen

A new Android app lets you earn money just by swiping your lockscreen. Locket is an Android app that places ads on a users lockscreen and pays them for every time they swipe the screen away.

While the app won’t make you rich by any means, it could help you buy that next latte. The app pays one cent per swipe, with the max payouts per hour being three. That’s a whopping three cents per hour you could be racking up just for obsessively checking your Facebook status.¬†Locket lets users “cash out” once $10 has been accumulated, and offers $1 per friend referral. The company will soon be offering a way for users to put their earnings towards gift cards and the like.

Locket focused on making the ad delivery experience visually pleasing by incorporating hi-res images into the mix, and has reportedly turned clients away for having ads that were not up to snuff.

If you’d like to save up some pennies for a rainy day, check out Locket at the Play Store.
