Good ol’ ASUS may have problems bringing its fancy devices on time to many markets around the world, but once their products are launched, they usually get a good treatment. Take the original ASUS PadFone for example. Even though we have two newer models, PadFone 2 and PadFone Infinity, the Taiwanese company keeps launching updates for the original device.
The latest software update bring firmware version to 10.2.4.1 while packing a number of changes, including:
- Improved stability in phone and tablet PC modes
- Strengthened Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections
- Optimized the switching function between Bluetooth earphone and speaker
- More stable FM radio broadcast
- Improved e-mail function
- Improved the phone’s security and SD card data storage function
- Enhanced the apps’ interfaces and performances
The firmware update is available for WW, RUS, and HK versions of the ASUS PadFone so be sure to grab the correct one before starting the upgrade process. Also, your battery should have enough juice to get you through the end of the update…
