MetroPCS’ line-up has been expanded with the addition of two new smartphones – Nokia Lumia 521 and LG Optimus F3.
The first of the two is the cheapest Windows Phone 8 device like ever, selling for just $99.99 sans any strings attached. Actually, you’ll likely have to use it with MetroPCS’ network but there are no long-term commitments whatsoever. Specs wise, it comes with a 4-inch WVGA touchscreen, 1GHz dual-core processor, 5-megapixel rear camera, 512MB of RAM, 1430mAh battery and 8GB of expandable storage.
As for the LG Optimus F3, it’s an entry-level LTE Android smartphone that includes a 4-inch WVGA IPS touchscreen, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 5-megapixel camera on the back, while Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is running the show. Again, it too is available sans contract as long as you pour out $149.99. Pretty sweet for first-time smartphone users…
