We’ve no doubts Nokia wants to enter the phablet market. The company may just be waiting for Microsoft to update its platform, and include support for full HD screens and quad-core processors, both of which are slated to arrive in the forthcoming Windows Phone 8 GDR3 update.
So what you can see above is apparently a screen of Nokia’s upcoming 6-inch phablet which could be unveiled later this year, most likely just before Christmas to benefit from the shopping craze.
As you would imagine we have no other details to share at the moment. We do expect a full HD screen and a powerful quad-core CPU under the hood to make for a smooth experience. Moreover, it’s likely this will be an expensive device though arguably more affordable than also-upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note III. We’ll make sure to follow-up on this story and get back to you as soon as new information emerges. Stay tuned in the meantime, k?
