Fans of the karaoke, here’s one for you. A new accessory called JUKE is currently raising funds at Kickstarter. Available for 89 GBP, it consists of a Bluetooth microphone that plugs into headphone jack, a Bluetooth receiver to connect to your existing home stereo or stand-alone speakers, and a dedicated app.
In order to start singing, all you have to do is plug-in the microphone, connect your stereo to the Bluetooth receiver, fire-up the app and you’re good to go… or to start the party.
As for the app’s capabilities, it supports video streaming from video sites like YouTube and Vimeo, and even allows video caching. Additionally, you can create your playlists, share them with your friends, as well as add video effects like echo, harmonizer, pitch correction, limiter and expander, and more. Unfortunately for Android users, it will initially be limited to iOS devices with Android version coming later on.
The project is looking to raise 85,000 GBP and as I’m writing this they’re not close to that goal. Hopefully, this post will help these guys get more orders to eventually push JUKE into production…
