Sony Mobile has started rolling out Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean updates for three of its Xperia smartphones – Xperia Z, Xperia ZL and Xperia ZR.
Firmware version 10.3.1.A.0.244 is said to include a number of tweaks and changes, including smoother Boot animation, more efficient RAM management, smoother Home launcher, updated UI to the Update Center, 3G Signal strength improved, touch response improvements, faster sleep and wake, low-light image quality improved, changes in car mode app, high resolution image snapping while recording a non-HDR video, no screen flickering, and no unusual battery reading bug.
As far as we’ve understood, this update isn’t available all across the globe but now that some users got it, we expect that the rollout will expand around the world. So don’t worry if you don’t see it just yet – it’s coming any day now. 😉
