Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update has been leaked for the Samsung Galaxy S II Plus in Germany. The change log is still not available but those who managed to cram this software onto their devices mention improved launcher, weather widget and lock screen, all of which look like those on the Galaxy S4.
The multi-window feature is not included and I’m not sure it will ever be released due to phone’s, by today’s standards, mid-end specs.
The exact launch date for the new firmware is still unknown, but that doesn’t stop you from manually flashing it to your Galaxy S II Plus today. That process, however, involves some risk and your device could end up bricked, potentially making your warranty obsolete. We just had to add that here. 😉
