Acer unveiled a new Android smartphone, its fifth this year. The new Liquid Z3 doesn’t follow the trend of super-big devices; quite the contrary, it comes with a 3.5-inch screen and will thus easily fit into any pocket.
In addition, this phone also packs a 1.7GHz dual-core processor making sure apps will run as fast as possible. Unfortunately, the Z3 has a 3-megapixel camera that doesn’t seem cool enough these days. Plus, there’s a 4GB of built-in storage, HSPA+ and Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS, and a microSD card slot. Android 4.2 Jelly Bean is running the show out of box and Acer even promised to update its baby to Android 4.3 soon.
The Liquid Z3 will be available in Rock Black and Classic White for 99 EUR (about $132). Users will also be able to get colored flip-cover and back-cover accessories that will sell in a range of colors such as Rock Black, Classic White, Sakura Pink, Pop Yellow and Lagoon Turquoise.
So far, Acer only announced the new phone to be available in Belgium, Netherlands, Ukraine, France, Spain, UK, Italy, Germany and Russia.
