AT&T will soon launch the ZTE-made Mustang Z998 Android Jelly Bean smartphone. The device already got a page at the Chinese company’s website and we guess we won’t have to wait for too long to get the carrier’s press release with the official announcement.
Specs wise, we’re talking about a mid-end device that comes with a 4.5-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) touchscreen, LTE connectivity support, 5-megapixel rear camera with flash, 1-megapixel front-facing one, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 Plus dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM, Bluetooth 4.0 and 4GB of expandable storage (via microSD cards).
We still don’t know how much AT&T will ask for the Mustang, but it’s safe to assume this will be an affordable handset, one that won’t break anyone’s bank. Heck, we wouldn’t be surprised that AT&T offers it to its prepaid customers, as well. We’ll obviously get back to you as soon as we have something new to report about this smartphone…
