Back in June, we’ve told you that 5.6mm thin Umeox X5 smartphone is preparing to take the “world’s thinnest smartphone” title from the Huawei Ascend P6. The good news is that this device is coming to Europe, and it will be officially announced in September at IFA, Berlin.
It is said that France will be the first country to get the X5 and users there will know is as Thomson X5. And afterwards, we expect to see it hitting the store shelves of other countries across the continent.
Specs wise, we’re talking about a phablet that comes with either a 5.3- or 4-inch screen (we’re not sure), MediaTek’s processor, and dual 5-megapixel cameras. It looks like the specs sheet is still not finalized or at least we’re not sure about all the components. We’ll get back to you as soon as we get some new tidbit of information; stay tuned in the meantime…
