The newly announced LG G2 will be available in its unlocked, SIM-free form for 599 EUR in Europe. That at least will be the price in Germany where Notebooksbilliger has started taking pre-orders, asking 599 EUR for the 16GB model and 30 EUR more for the one with 32 gigs of internal storage. Both black and white models are available.
LG said the G2 will be in the stores of 130 carriers worldwide within eight weeks. The Korean company plans to move some 10 million units by the end of the year and we tend to think they’ll easily hit that goal. Heck I would expect them to move twice as many G2s as at the moment, it’s the best phone ever announced. That, however, could easily change with Samsung announcing Snapdragon 800-powered version of the Galaxy S4… and perhaps some other vendors launching similar, beefed-up versions of their flagships.
