The Moto X was revealed by Motorola a few weeks ago, but the company left us hanging on release details for the device, saying that it would be available later this fall. A leaked screenshot from Best Buy leads points to the Verizon version of the Moto X being available August 29th. A similar screenshot showed up a few weeks ago, alluding to an August 23rd release date.
The Moto X features a 4.7 inch 720p HD AMOLED display . The handset also ships with a 10 megapixel Clear Pixel camera, which should significantly increase performance in low-light situations. Rocking a 1.7GHz Qualcomm S4 CPU, this firmly plants the handset in the mid-range market. Other specs include 2GB RAM, 16/32GB internal storage, and 2200 mAh battery.
If this leak is to be believed, we’ve got a short amount of time until Verizon customers will be able to get their hands on the hot handset. Of course, customization options are exclusive to AT&T at the moment (boo!) but are said to be available for Verizon customers later in the year. Verizon will offer the white and black versions of the device.
What do you think of the Moto X? Are you planning on grabbing one?
