We’ve been expecting Sony to make a big announcement at this year’s IFA in Berlin, and today Sony has made it official. Sony sent out an invitation today, inviting the press to an event that is just hours before Samsung’s big Unpacked event. Sony will undoubtedly be unveiling a host of electronics, but the one thing we’re really concerned about is the Sony Honami, the Xperia Z looking device that touts a 20 MP camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Android Jelly Bean, 2GB of RAM and a 3,000 mAh battery. Also of interest is the ‘Lens G’ attachment, which transforms a smartphone into a powerful digital camera.
