HP Slate 8 Pro with Tegra 4 CPU and 8-inch 1,600×1,200 screen coming soon

HP Slate 8 Pro with Tegra 4 CPU

Looks like HP is getting ready for the tablet offensive. After that awesome SlateBook x2, the company is preparing to launch another Tegra 4-powered device – Slate 8 Pro.

Details are still scarce but from the GFXBench website we learn that this model will pack an 8-inch 1,600 x 1,200 pixels (that’s 4:3 ratio) touchscreen, while boasting the same NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor clocked at 1.8 GHz. Moreover, there’s likely 2GB of RAM under the hood, as well as the usual array of sensors and connectivity options.

And that’s all we have at the moment. HP is still quiet about it and we’ll rather have to wait for few additional weeks and get all information about this powerful tablet. Hopefully, it will also support keyboard docks like the SlateBook x2 does, making for an even more compact portable office. Yeah, I already love it. 😉

This is the tablet I’ll want. As long as it has a keyboard dock.
