A new Samsung Galaxy device has been launched in Brazil and it comes with TV receiver — Galaxy S II TV. However, it’s not completely new smartphone nor some special version of the two-year-old Galaxy S II; rather it’s a special version of the Galaxy Ace 3 that has ISDB-T receiver along with an antenna for receiving the signal. Moreover, the phone also has two SIM card slots allowing users to connect to two different networks at once.
Rest of the specs include a 1GHz dual-core processor, 4-inch WVGA screen, 5-megapixel rear and VGA front cameras, 1,500mAh battery and a microSD memory card slot. In addition, there’s a number of Sammy’s pre-installed apps and tweaks like S Translator, S Travel, Sound & Shot, Smart Stay, Best Shot and Buddy Photo Share.
There’s no information on the price or availability but we can hardly imagine Samsung bringing the Galaxy S II TV outside of Brazil.
