Alcatel One Touch Scribe Pro with 6-inch screen, 13MP camera and quad-core CPU coming soon

Alcatel One Touch Scribe Pro

TCL-owned Alcatel is apparently looking to yet again expand its One Touch family of devices. The newly leaked One Touch Scribe Pro will compete in the phablet space boasting a large 6-inch screen (720p or 1080p – we’re not sure), 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 13-megapixel camera on the back and stylus. Moreover some kind of “LED magic flip” case will also be offered to provide quick peek into the missed calls, messages, music player and other useful information.

Release date of this phone is unknown at the moment and we’ll likely have to wait for few additional weeks to get that information. Likewise, we’re not sure in which markets Alcatel will sell this phone. We guess they’ll offer it across a number of countries in Asia and Europe, as their phones rarely come to North America. We’ll get back to you as soon as we have something new to add to the story…

Sounds like an Average Joe’s phablet – i.e. Alcatel is known to sell affordable hardware.
