According to a tweet from HTC America’s president Jason Mackenzie, all U.S. and Canadian versions of the HTC One and the DROID DNA will be receiving the latest version of Android Jelly Bean, version 4.3, before the end of September. HTC One owners have been waiting patiently for an upgrade to Android 4.2.2, and it turns out that HTC will be eschewing the 4.2.2 update and going straight to Android 4.3.
Android 4.3 brings a number of improvements, such as support for Bluetooth Smart technology, OpenGL ES3 support and the ability to create restricted profiles for multiple users.
So HTC One and DROID DNA owners in the U.S. and Canada, get ready to see your devices receive Android 4.3 by the end of September.
