LG’s latest flagship Android device, the G2, may be on its way sooner than expected — For AT&T and Verizon, at least. Apparently the hot new handset will be landing on Verizon on September 12th, with AT&T’s version hitting the street the next day, on September 13th.
In addition to the release dates, the guys over at Android Central also mention that AT&T will start pre-orders for the G2 on the 3rd of September, and those who get in on the pre-order will receive a free folio case. Whether or not the free folio case turns out to be LG’s QuickWindow case remains to be seen.
The LG G2 features a 5.2 inch 1080 HD IPS+ display, 2.26 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, 2GB RAM 13 megapixel camera with OIS, 3,000 mAh battery, 16/32GB storage options, and more. Just a quick glance of the G2’s spec sheet shows that it will easily be able to take on any handset on the market when it debuts.
We’re pretty excited about the G2, and we’re currently running a contest to win one for yourself here, so don’t miss out on it!
