South Koreans will soon be able to get an Android-based clamshell from Samsung. Called Galaxy Golden (model number SHV-E400), it’s a better device than the Galaxy Folder we’ve talked about two weeks ago, but it’s still not a high-end smartphone.
Specs wise, it comes with two 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreens, 1.7GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel rear and 1.9-megapixel front cameras, LTE connectivity support, 1,820mAh battery and a memory card slot. In addition, the Galaxy Golden also ships with an array of preloaded software like S Health, business card reader, Samsung Hub, Easy Mode and so on.
As for the price, Sammy’s smart clamshell will be available from SKT and KT for 799,700 won, which translates into whopping $716. Kinda steep if you ask me…
