You got that right – AT&T will soon start selling the Samsung Galaxy S III Mini. Not the new S4 Mini, but the last year’s model. Not sure why they want to do that, but what do I know. AT&T may also launch the Galaxy S4 Mini at a later date, in addition to the even-better HTC One Mini, which will be released within a week.
As you may know, the Galaxy S III Mini is an entry-level device by today’s standards, featuring specs that include a 4-inch WVGA screen, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, 5-megapixel rear and VGA front cameras, 1GHz dual-core NovaThor U8420 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB or 16 GB of expandable storage. It currently runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean but it may easily get the 4.2.2 (or 4.3) update before launching at American network.
