It looks like the leaks have proven true once again, and the Moto X will be available to Verizon customers on Thursday, August 29th. Verizon announced the availability with a tweet and it looks like customers will be able to buy the Moto X on Verizon’s website on the 29th, and the devices will be showing up in brick and mortar stores in “the coming weeks”.

The Moto X features a nice set of specs, and will offer up customizations like no other phone we’ve seen before. Customers can choose the color device, storage options, among other things to make it more personal in the new Moto Maker service.
The handset features a 4.7 inch 720p HD AMOLED display . The handset also ships with a 10 megapixel Clear Pixel camera, which should significantly increase performance in low-light situations. Rocking a 1.7GHz Qualcomm S4 CPU, this firmly plants the handset in the mid-range market. That said, the handset itself should perform serviceably to most people. Other specs on the Moto X include 2GB RAM, 16/32GB internal storage, and 2200 mAh battery
So any Verizon customers out there grabbing a Moto X this week?
