Second Generation Nexus 7 Now Available in Japan and a Few European Countries

The second generation Nexus 7 tablet is now available outside of the U.S., with Google now selling the device in France, Germany, Japan, Spain and the U.K.

The second generation Nexus 7 sports a 7-inch display with 1920 x 1200-pixel resolution, dual-stereo speakers with surround sound, a 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.2-megapixel front camera, dual-band WiFi, wireless charging and Bluetooth 4.0. Inside of the sleek black casing is a 1.4GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of storage and runs Android 4.3.

The Nexus 7 is available through the Google Play Store, and is available in 16 or 32GB versions. U.K. customers can expect to pay £199.99 for the 16GB version, and £239.99 for the 32GB variant. As for France, Germany and Spain, expect to shell out €229 for the 16GB model and €269 for the 32GB model. The 16GB version is available in Japan, with a price tag of 27,800 yen.

If you’re in any of the above mentioned countries, look for the Nexus 7 to be available on the Google Play Store in the coming weeks.
