GreatCall launched a new smartphone in its JitterBug series that targets senior citizens. The JitterBug Touch 2 comes with a custom UI that runs on top of Android, making it easy to access most of the phone’s features. For instance, apps are organized in a single list format with large, legible letters. Plus, there’s a dedicated app that provides users with a quick glance of their minute, text and data usage.
Specs wise, the JitterBug Touch 2 comes with a 4-inch screen (we guess it’s WVGA), 5-megapixel camera on the back, front-facing camera for video calls, 512MB of RAM, and a battery that can work for up to 5.3 hours in talk or 13 days in standby mode. Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is running the show (with GreatCall’s custom UI singing on top).
All this could be yours for $139.99, with no contracts to sign and no cancellation fees. Additionally, every GreatCall product comes with nationwide coverage and the support of award-winning, 100% U.S. based customer service.
