Surprise, surprise, Apple is sending out press invites for a September 10th event to be held at the company’s Cupertino campus. The event is slated for 10:00 AM PT.
Apple may use the event to announce a new iPhone. The iPhone model may replace the current iPhone 5 and is rumored to include some extras like a fingerprint sensor. Apple is also rumored to be working on a colorful, inexpensive iPhone that’ll compete favorably with Android in emerging markets. The latest information from reliable sources like iMore and The Loop suggest the iPad will not be included in this event.
