Samsung held its Unpacked Episode 2 event today and used the occasion to announced the Galaxy Note 3 as well as its companion the Galaxy Gear and a 10.1-inch tablet, the Note 10.1 2014. As expected, the successor to the Note 2 sports more distinct lines with squared off edges and a more blocky look than earlier models. It includes a warm textured touch back cover that has a leathery-look, a new S Pen, bigger screen with smaller bezel, advanced multitasking and will support all major LTE networks.
Hardware-wise, the Note 3 rocks with a 5.7-inch 1080p HD display, 3 GB of RAM, 13-megapixel camera Smart Stabilization and high CRI LED flash, and 3,200 mAh battery. It’ll ship with 32GB or 64GB internal storage and a microSD card slot. Color options include Jet Black, Classic White and Blush Pink.
The Note 3 will go on sale on September 25th in more than 149 countries and will be available worldwide in October.
