Skype is steadily making improvements to its Windows Phone app, bringing video messaging to the platform. This feature allows users to record a short video message and share it with a Skype contact. iOS and Android have both offered video messaging, but this is the first time it has made its appearance on Windows Phone 8.
According to Skype, recording a video message is easy. All you have to do is open a conversation and tap + to record a message. Or if you can’t reach a contact by Skype call and choose to send them a video message instead, just tap the prompt and begin recording your message.
You can download Skype for free in the Windows Phone marketplace.
