Griffin has recently unveiled MultiDock, an expensive, almost must-have accessory for modern mobile warriors. This fancy-looking charging station can take up to 10 USB devices, including Apple’s iPhone and iPad. The problem, however, is that it will cost whopping $699, hinting us it’s not made for everyone. Sure enough, it looks like an expensive piece of furniture but pouring out 700 bucks to get rid of cables is a lot, nonetheless. Perhaps Griffin is shooting for companies, cafes and restaurants where MultiDock could be used by employees and/or guests. In that sense, there’s an option to place multiple MultiDocks on top of each other.
It’s worth adding that MultiDock is also an efficient device that uses Griffin’s ChargeSensor to “automatically detect the charging characteristics of each connected device and supply the charging rate each device needs for the fastest, most complete charging.” So your iPad will get more power than a smartphone.
I love it though I’m not sure I can afford one. If you can, look for one in October…
