The new iPhone 5S and 5C have been announced with Apple saying it will stop selling the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4, leaving only the iPhone 4S around (for some time).
But, iPhone 4 won’t be pull out from all parts of the world yet. In China, it will still be offered as a low-cost ticket to Apple’s eco-system. Folks from the world’s most populous country will still be able to get the SIM-free iPhone 4 unit for RMB 2588, the amount that translates into some $423. In comparison, the iPhone 5C costs the equivalent of $700 in China.
The iPhone 4 model that will still be available in China is the 8GB version and it sold in black or white. Meaning Chinese are better off importing the iPhone 4 from other parts of the world where it costs less…
