If new leaked photos are to believed, the days of QWERTY slider phones may not be over. We’ve seen a few pictures of the rumored Motorola Droid 5 before, which may be sporting NFC and wireless charging. The device is expected to be touting a 4.3 or 4.5-inch touchscreen, and will be coming to Verizon, naturally. The DROID 5 is also rumored to be rocking a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
If the photos are legit, it seems that Motorola didn’t stray to far from the design of the DROID 4 for the DROID 5, as the two devices look almost identical. It is also speculated that the DROID 5 will lack the Kevlar coating and water resistance of the DROID RAZR and Maxx handsets.
