Vodafone keeps pushing its own-brand tablets. The latest in line, Vodafone Smart Tab 10 III, has been unveiled in Romania and it’s made by Lenovo. Specs wise, this thing packs a 10.1-inch IPS screen with 1280×800 pixels resolution, MediaTek’s 8389 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, 1GB of RAM, 5-megapixel rear and VGA front cameras, Bluetooth 4.0, HSPA+ and Wi-Fi connectivity, and 16GB of expandable storage. The 8.6mm-thick device has a 6,350 mAh battery, running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of box.
In Romania, Vodafone will sell the Smart Tab 10 III for 299 EUR sans any strings attached. Alternatively, users will also be able to get it for 184 EUR with a two-year contract involving 10 EUR per month tariff that includes 1.5GB of data. Finally, there’s the way to get the tablet for free as long as you commit on a 22 EUR per month tariff.
Aside from Romania, Vodafone is also bringing the Smart Tab 10 III to Germany with other European markets likely to follow shortly.
