Grand Theft Auto V has officially became the fastest selling game in the history of the series. The new game, released yesterday, made $800 Million dollars in just 24 hours. If the momentum keeps up, GTA V could be the the fastest selling game of all time!
Publisher Take Two Interactive announced today that the game pulled in $800 million dollars on its first day on sale. That makes it both the fastest selling title in GTA history, but also makes Grand Theft Auto V the fastest piece of entertainment of any kind to come so close to the $1 billion. That’s faster than any Hollywood blockbuster film or platinum album.
