AT&T is now selling Samsung’s last-year Galaxy S III Mini, offering it for free (actually 99 cents) to anyone willing to put his/her signature on a two-year contract. Alternatively, there’s the off-contract option with a price tag of $284.99. We’re not sure this phone is needed in the carrier’s portfolio but what do we know.
The Korean company is now selling the Galaxy S4 Mini and that model could also end-up in AT&T’s offering, as well. We just hope users won’t have to wait for a full year to be able to get one of these.
Anyhow, the Galaxy S III Mini comes with a 4-inch WVGA screen, LTE connectivity support, 5-megapixel rear and VGA front cameras, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of expandable storage. Unlike the international model which still comes with Android 4.1, AT&T’s version runs Android 4.2 right from the get-go.
If all this sounds fancy to you, proceed to this page to get all other details, and eventually grab the Mini for your kid. The chances are you want something better for yourself…
