Nokia may use its October 22nd event to launch a new member of the Asha family (among other devices) as we have a press render of the upcoming Asha 502 to show you.

As you can see from the image above — brought to us by the good folks of EVleaks — this is basically a slightly revamped version of the existing Asha 500, and will likely come with both dual-SIM support and Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as the new version of Nokia’s feature phone platform. However, there will also be some differences, including the camera with a flash; whereas the original Asha 500 lacks flash.

Rest of the specs are unknown and — honestly — not that important since we’re talking about a feature phone, rather than smartphone. As such, the Nokia Asha 502 will likely find its customers in the emerging markets of the world, and perhaps, prepaid offerings of the carriers in the West. It will cost some $100 (or less) sans any strings attached… We’ll bring you more as soon as we get new details.

In the meantime, let me remind you that we also expect to see Nokia unveiling its very first phablet (Lumia 1520) and Windows RT tablet (Lumia 2520) on October 22nd.
