ZTE may be gearing towards bringing the Nubia Z5 Mini to the United States, GforGames is reporting. During the International Communications Exhibition event in Beijing, the company’s executive mentioned something of this sort, pretty much starting the rumor-mill across the Interwebs.
The smartphone we’re talking about here is a mini version of the big/regular Nubia Z5 smartphone. It does, however, rock solid hardware, including a 4.7-inch 720p HD screen, 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chip, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of expandable storage. Moreover, it also has a powerful 13-megapixel camera on the back that has a Konica-Minolta lens, Sony CMOS sensor and OSRAM flash. Yeah this sounds almost too cool for a device which is currently selling for an equivalent of $310 in China, though we’re sure it will have a different (as in “higher”) price once it reaches the Western hemisphere. We’ll get back to you as soon as we hear something new on this…
