Just when we’ve told you about Huawei’s plans to make a new supply chain hub in Dubai, the company announced establishing of a Regional Data Hosting and Logistics Centre in Nusajaya, Iskandar Malaysia.
Made in cooperation with the Malaysian government’s investment arm, Khazanah Nasional, the centre will occupy a combined office and warehouse space totaling 90,000 sq ft, serving Huawei’s regional customers. It will leverage on the strategic location of Iskandar Malaysia and supportive government investment incentives.
Under the collaboration agreement, Khazanah will provide the necessary facilitation for Huawei to set up the proposed centre; some 600 jobs are expected to be created in the process. The size of the investment was not revealed, though.
Yup, Huawei is on the way to conquer the world and is steadily building the global infrastructure to support its rapid growth.
