Apple may be unveiling its new iPads on October 22nd, according to a report from AllThingsD. In Apple fashion, the event will be invitation only, and will introduce updates to the iPad line as well as the new Mac Pro and OS X Mavericks.
Apple’s fifth-generation iPad is rumored to have a sleeker design than other models, an improved camera and Apple’s new 64-bit A7 chip. The second generation iPad mini is expected to have a Retina screen as well as an A7 and M7 chip, and could possibly come in colors akin to the iPhone 5s. Both devices may see the iPhone 5s’s fingerprint sensor packed in as well.
If the October 22nd event is real, we should be hearing word of the event soon.
