Apple is sending out invitations to a press event that’ll be held October 22nd. The invitation contains the tease “We still have a lot to cover,” but doesn’t reveal any additional details about the event. Rumors suggest the company will unveil a new iPad, a new iPad mini, and new MacBook Pro models. Also possibly on tap is a release date for OS X Mavericks, which was announced in June of this year and is still awaiting release. Last but not least, Apple will likely provide additional details on the Mac Pro, the company’s next generation desktop for power users.
The event will be held at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco and will begin at 10:00 am PT. Traditionally, Apple has live streamed the events that it has hosted at this venue, so hopefully there will be a live video feed this time around.
