Apple unveiled the iPad Mini 2 today at its event in San Francisco, wowing us all with its new 2,048 x 1,536 pixel retina display with a 7.9 inch size. While the iPad Mini 2’s design doesn’t vary much from the original iPad, it is a beauty, and comes in black and white, silver and space grey colors. It also has MIMO WiFi support and supports a variety of LTE bands. Pricing for LTE variants have not been detailed yet.
The iPad Mini 2 is touting a faster processor than its predecessor, rocking an A7 64-Bit processor, the same one that is packed into the iPhone 5s. Running iOS 7, the new iPad mini runs 4 times faster than it’s predecessor.
The iPad Mini 2 will be priced starting at $399 for the 16GB version, and will release in November.
