Microsoft has started selling its new tablets in Canada. The Surface 2 and Surface 2 Pro can be purchased in Microsoft’s physical retail stores, its online store, or at select big box locations. The Windows RT-powered model could be yours for CA$449, while the Windows 8.1-based Surface 2 Pro starts at CA$899. Those are the final prices requiring no contract signing of any sorts.
However, if you want to also get a keyboard cover, you’ll have to pour out an extra CA$119.99 for the backlit Touch Cover or CA$129.99 for the more practical Type Cover 2. The way I see things, you’ll want to have some kind of a keyboard with these slates to make you more productive while on the go. Any takers?
