Forget Google Glass and Samsung Galaxy Gear, The Tweeting Bra is Here!

Just when I thought I’d seen everything, along comes the Tweeting Bra. You heard me right, a bra that tweets every time it is unclasped. Forget Google Glass and the Samsung Galaxy Gear, as far as wearable tech goes the Tweeting Bra is totally some next level shit.

The Tweeting bra is the brainchild of Greek marketing group OgilvyOne Athens, who developed the bra to be part of a new campaign for Nestle Fitness. The marketing campaign is designed to promote breast cancer awareness by promoting the need for self-examinations.

Greek TV personality Maria Bacodimou will be wearing the bra for two weeks, with the bra tweeting to her Twitter handle @mariabacodimou.

The Tweeting Bra includes a special mechanism under the hook of the bra, which pairs with a nearby mobile device. When the bra is unhooked, it sends a signal to the mobile device which then sends out the tweet. Pretty nifty, right?

So there you everyone, the age of tweeting undergarments is upon us. What’s next? Perhaps tweeting boxer briefs that tweet every time someone farts? Now that would be…a gas! Fingers crossed!
