Logitech unveils new keyboard cases for iPad Air, starting at $99

Logitech has let the wraps off its latest accessories by announcing four new iPad Air keyboard covers: the Fabricskin Keyboard Folio, Ultrathin Keyboard Folio, Ultrathin Keyboard aluminum cover, and Folio Protective case.

The Fabricskin Keyboard Folio is its premium product as it’s being priced at $149. This keyboard rocks a two-sided case that supports the iPad Air at two angles similar to the hinge on the new Surface 2. The Fabricskin Keyboard Folio is also water-resistant, uses a SecureLock entry system and carries up to three months of battery life. Users will be able to choose between three colors: red, black or yellow.

Rounding out the list of four is the Ultrathin Keyboard Folio and aluminum, both are priced at $99. And both lose certain features found on the premium model such as being water-resistant, while only being able to cover the front of the iPad Air.

Lastly, is the two-sided $49 Folio Protective case that comes with water-resistance but doesn’t come with keyboard. It can also work as an adjustable stand that can support the Air at almost any angle.

“We’ve carefully designed these new products to perfectly complement the aesthetics of the new thinner and lighter iPad Air,” said Mike Culver, vice president and general manager of mobility at Logitech. “From integrating a comfortable view stand in our folios to delivering Logitech’s superior typing experience in our keyboard products, we’ve paid close attention to every product detail in this lineup. Even the color and size of the new Ultrathin Keyboard Cover perfectly match the size and external colors of the new iPad to deliver beautiful protection iPad users expect and appreciate from Logitech.”

We’re sure these options from Logitech will sell like hotcakes as they’re one of the defacto leaders in iPad accessories.
