Micromax announced the Canvas Turbo, its latest flagship device that comes with some rock-solid specs. These include a 5.0-inch full HD 1080p IPS CGS (Continuous Grain Silicon) display made by Sharp, 2GB of RAM, and a quad-core processor.
That processor is made by MediaTek (MT6589T), boasting four 1.5GHz Cortex-A7 cores and PowerVR SGX544 graphics. In addition, the smartphone packs 16GB of internal storage, which for some reason isn’t expandable with microSD cards.
Dual-SIM capability comes included, and there are also two cameras: 13-megapixel one with LED flash on the back, plus 5MP front-facing camera.
Micromax Canvas Turbo will be launched with Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean on October 26th. Users in India will be able to buy one for INR19,990, the amount that translates into some $326 or €235.
