We love reading about smartphone prices going down like it’s nobody’s business. It makes us realize just how powerful market forces are. And, on the other hand, we get to learn about the high margins of companies like Samsung and Apple.

A new low-cost phone comes from (guess) China and it offers the best bang for the buck I’ve ever seen. Called G2F, this device comes with a 4.3-inch 720p HD screen, 1.3GHz quad-core processor (likely made by MediaTek) and an 8-megapixel camera on the back. In addition, there’s also 1GB of RAM, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 2200 mAh battery.

And here’s the best part – it will sell for just $82. Yup, that’s eighty-two bucks. You can hardly find anything better for that money.

I assume you get the stock Android experience which, for some folks, makes this deal that much sweeter.

Now, we doubt the G2F will ever be released in the West, but we’re sure you will be able to get one from some importer. Even with added shipping costs, it will still be a bargain. Love it. 🙂
