Jelly Bean now running on more than half of Android devices

Jelly Bean is now the most popular version of Android with platform versions 4.1-4.3 running on 52.1% of all active devices, up from 48.6% a month ago. In comparison, Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.x) holds 19.8%, Honeycomb – 0.1%, Gingerbread – 26.3% and Froyo – 1.7%.

These are the figures from devices that use the Google Play Store app and they may not include phones and tablets sold in China and other parts of Asia where Android doesn’t necessarily comes with preloaded Google services.
