Here’s the back cover of HTC’s next year flagship – M8

HTC M8 back cover

We’ve already told you that HTC’s next year’s flagship is in works. Codenamed M8, it will sport top-notch specs that include fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core chip, 5- or 5.2-inch full HD screen, 3GB of RAM and the new version of Sense UI – 6.0.

And now have the phone’s back cover to show you. As you can see for yourself, it has two holes on the back, one for the camera and another one for fingerprint sensor, or so we think. That sensor will be located at the very top of the phone making it easy to scan your finger and gain access to the phone. Personally I prefer Apple’s way, to have the fingerprint sensor placed on the front of the phone but we’ll take whatever we get.

Anyway, we’ll have to wait for another few months to be able to try out the HTC Two or however the Taiwanese company ends up calling its flagship for the year. We’ll be returning with additional details as soon as we get ’em. Stay tuned…

I should come with a 5 inch screen with a screen resolution of 2560×1440. So it can be different in a great way compared to the smartphones of other companies.

Bad idea, that resolution would suck up so much power, the battery life would suffer even more. Unless they come up with a new battery tech that doubles battery life, I’d rather have more battery life. Besides, 468 ppi is already over and beyond what’s necessary, do you really need to look at your phone at 3 to 4 inches away? It would look really silly.

The phone should come with a better screen resolution and a bigger battery because the Samsung Galaxy S5 and flagship smartphones from Sony and LG will definitely be coming with those specs.

You still haven’t explained why there should be a higher resolution which is useless because the naked eye can’t see it unless it is really close and that it sucks up a lot of power.
