The curvy LG G Flex will be arriving stateside, landing on AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint, according to @evleaks. The device was released in South Korea just a few weeks ago, paving the way for smartphones with curved displays.
The LG G Flex features a 6 inch Plastic OLED Display (POLED) with a resolution of 1280 x 720. Aside from the massive curved display, users will be treated to a 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 13 megapixel camera, 2.1 megapixel front-facing camera, and 3,500 mAh battery. The device also includes a self-healing coating on the back cover, which will automatically repair small dings and scratches resulting from daily wear and tear.
It’s still not clear if the LG G Flex will arrive in the states for the holiday season, as the device will more than likely see a European release before it lands in America. Pricing is still elusive as well.
Samsung has announced a smartphone with a curved display as well, the Samsung Galaxy Round. Be sure to check out our Galaxy Round LG G Flex comparison article here.
